Q. I'm studying for my Tech class ham radio exam. When NuTest starts up I can't see how to navigate around the program.
A. If you are using Windows in certain video modes the NuTest page tabs can be obscured by the Task Bar. One solution is to Click/drag the task bar to one side or the top. Or you could turn on Task Bar Auto Hide by right clicking on the task bar and selecting properties to get to the Auto Hide option.

Q. On my copy of NuTest I can only get the demonstration test to work. I want to take my General class ham radio exam next month. All of the other license class options are grayed out.
A. Purchase NuTest and the required license class materials for your ham radio exam will be available.

Q. Are the latest questions included for this years ham radio exam?
A. As from July 2010 there will be no more NuTest question pool updates. The Tech pool supplied with NuTest has now expired but many of the questions are re-used in the current version. You can now gain free access to the NuTest Tech question pool. For instructions please click on the NuTest Buy Now button. The General and Extra class pools supplied with NuTest are still current through June 30, 2011 and Jun 30, 2012 respectively.

Q Is there a way to turn off all performance feedback so I can see how I can really do without clues, just like the real ham radio exam? Thanks.
A. Yes. Go to the Preferences page and look in the "Show correct option" group, select the "Don't show" option. You might also want to get rid of the "Correct/Incorrect message" to do this uncheck the "Give feedback" option on this page. To completely remove all clues as to how you are doing uncheck the "Show score during ham radio exam" option.

Q. When I open the help screens and arrange them I would like NuTest ham radio exam software to remember the positions next time they open.
A. This feature is already present. The first time you open the screen position and resize it in the usual way. Then use the help screen's own File\Exit command to close the screens. Next time the screen opens it will remember the position.
